Instead of attending a local Courthouse for several clients, J.O.T. and the Crown's new organizational systems have scattered clients to every day of the week, in multiple Courtrooms and at multiple times of day. It has become a scheduling nightmare.
I tell people I used to be a trial lawyer but I have become a pre-trial lawyer! Often a client's initial retainer is spent well before Trial. We now spend our nights assigning juniors, students or paralegals to cover each different jurisdiction. We then receive multiple reports and bills.

Supervised by experienced, knowledgeable Lawyers in every Courthouse, our representatives will appear for you, with your privately retained client in person or by designation. Only licensed paralegals or local lawyers will appear, and we undertake never to "scoop" a client - ever.
Neither you nor your client need appear until the trial, plea or withdrawal date.
Most Crown Pre-trials now happen via telephone, with a Crown in his or her office. Many Judicial Pre-trials can be completed in the same manner. You can cover more clients in more Courthouses. You can make more money.
